Today, while at a stop light and performing my usual awkward stare-at-everyone-in-the-cars-next-to-me routine I caught a lady knitting while driving. Impressed and horrified, the only good that has come from this is I started knitting again. Almost done with a hat!
Time and again a weeny little voice pops up and says “Wouldn’t it be fun to just move far, far away?” Then the voice goes away.

My size 2 friend just told me she is having troubles finding things that fit in China because over there she is a size Medium or Large. I am now guessing that the majority of my spending money will go to shoes and accessories.

Moving sucks. And the only thing worse than moving is moving up three flights of stairs. And the only thing worse than moving up three flights of stairs is doing so when you have the flu.

I need to start buying Chinese fashion magazines. Also debating going back to blonde for the trip just so I will look that more exciting to those darn asians.
Just had explosive half hour long bloody nose in a bar bathroom. Humiliating? Yes.
Today while stopped at a stoplight there was a huge chunk of tire from a blow out about 20 feet behind me. I of course drove past it without thinking. A mousy bald man in the Prius behind me just out of his car, ran across 2 lanes of traffic, grabbed the tire and jumped back in his car. I drove away feeling very hopeful and humbled.
A favorite semi-hidden treasure of mine on Interstate 90 is Thorp Fruit. Not only is it a crazy produce stand, wine cellar, candy store and local canned goods retailer but it has two stories above that of amazing antique vendors. Just bought a 1940’s mink scarf for $22 and 24 lbs of nectarines for $7.50. Perfect!
The clock in my closet is two hours off.
For the past 2 weeks I have been subbing for a lady i work with at a brand new position until she gets back from medical leave. Today I was given my own ‘area’. My area is a closet with two desks and a window that looks out to the library. FML.
